Faculty from the Cizik Eye Clinic is committed to offering one of the best residency and fellowship programs in the United States.

Since the mid-1940s, Hermann Hospital (now Memorial Hermann) has provided an accredited ophthalmology training program with excellent didactic training and extensive surgical experience. With the establishment of the Hermann Eye Fund in 1967, the coming of The University of Texas Medical School in 1970, the birth of the Hermann Eye Center in 1977, and now the move to the new Robert Cizik Eye Clinic in 2007, training and teaching at all levels continues to improve.
