Marc R Criden MD, a new addition to the staff in 2007, is an expert in the management of disorders involving eyelids, periorbital tissues, lacrimal systems and facial bones including fractures. His clinical interests include ocular and orbital trauma, facial reconstruction, orbital tumors, thyroid-related orbitopathy, intracranial hypertension, and facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. Criden completed a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology and also has a special interest in this subspecialty.

Dr. Criden is very active in clinical research and training of residents and fellows.

In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Criden has completed a Master's of Science program in Neuroscience with research conducted at Yale University, School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
